Just wanted to wish everybody taking part in the London Winter Run, for this most excellent cause the very best of luck, strength and perseverance. You are all amazing.
If you're a courier delivering or travelling in central London on Sunday 31 January 2016, watch out for transport changes – the main ones are:
The London Winter Run is a 10k race in partnership with Cancer Research, which passes some of London's most iconic landmarks including Nelson's Column, St Paul's Cathedral and the Bank of England. Visit London Winter Run's site for full information.
- Road closures around The Mall, Pall Mall, the Strand, Aldwych, High Holborn, the City of London and Whitehall, mostly between 05:30 - 13:30 on Sunday 31 January
- Buses around the event area will be on diversion, or will terminate early
- Our advice is to avoid driving in the affected areas if possible, or allow more time to travel. Tube and rail are the best way to travel, but there will be some essential planned works
