I am co-owner and MD of the company. I began my courier life as a motorcycle courier working out of Cambridge. Most Friday's I found myself in the heart of London. Progressing into vans I would often find myself clocking up thousands of miles most weeks. Then after being a controller for a few years, I ended up as the MD of our company in 2000. There's not much I don't know about all levels of running this company. I have a strong desire to bring you quality, sustainability and a passionate approach to customer satisfaction in the delivery process.
I am co-owner and FD of the company. I joined the company, full-time in 2005, supporting Mario as a director in an administrative and financial capacity. I lead the accounts and payroll department
I am the book keeper in the accounts department and joined JC Couriers in 2008. I am originally from Sri Lanka, where I worked in the Ministry of Resettlement as a government employee (Management Assistant), doing book keeping and clerical work. I am very conscientious, loyal and determined to provide a quality service to our customers and suppliers.
When it comes to delivering the service I'm in charge. I have been in the courier business for some 17 years now and it's my job to ensure the smooth running of the company's services. I also manage key accounts personally. I started here as the same day controller back in 2008 having spent the previous 3 years as a driver and racking up close to 500k miles.
My main job for many years was as office manager so stepping into the position of facilities manager is a natural progression for me. My job is to provide the "fleet" and "stable" efficiently to the Operations Team with the added responsibility of managing the company's estate matters. If you are a supplier to the company chances are we will chat at some time. I've been with JC since 2004 so I know every aspect of the business. I also have previous experience of owning my own haulage business and spending many years as a driver too.
